Age Regression Hypnosis

Another exciting weekends worth of materials… this time we touched on Age Regression, Forensic Regression, Automatic Writing and a bunch of Hypnotherapy business development materials.

We talked about Forensic Regression techniques then went right into the Age Regression Calendar Method.  Students practiced Age Regression on each other and several had some very interesting experiences.

The Automatic Writing demonstration was nothing short of amazing.  Each student was asked to answer 5 questions consciously:

  1. What was the name of your best friend in the first grade?
  2. Who sat directly behind you in the third grade?
  3. What was the first thing you bought for yourself as a child?
  4. On your fourth birthday, what was the favorite gift you received?
  5. What was your first telephone number?

I for one couldn’t answer any of the questions save the first question but I highly doubted my inclination was correct.

The students were then asked to get into groups of three (explorer, hypnotist and distractor).  The explorer was read an induction and deepeners to get him/her to the appropriate depth (level 4 or 5) then given the instructions for Automatic Writing.  At which point, the explorer was given a tablet & pen and the distractor was instructed to begin.  The distractor’s purpose is just that, to distract the explorer from what his/her hand was doing.  So the explorers were having full conversations while under hypnosis and the hypnotist was instructing the unconscious mind to answer the 5 questions.

Watching someones hand write as if it had a mind of it’s own was impressive to say the least.  And most students got answers to all 5 questions while under hypnosis… the same people who previously could only answer 1 or 2 questions before.

Students also received a ton of Hypnotherapy Business & Marketing materials to aid them in launching their practices after graduation.

Another very interesting weekend to say the least!!!

Quit Smoking

Quit Smoking

This is a review of the NW Hypnosis Institute’s Weekend #7 of their Hypnosis Training course in Portland Oregon.  The weekend was devoted to Smoking Cessation.

We call it “Smoking Cessation” because it is one of the more positive ways to say, “quit smoking” or “stop smoking”.  Others would be: “smoke free” and “natural non-smoker”.

It was a long but good weekend of learning and practice.  Bruce always keeps the class lively and fun which makes for a great learning environment.  We practiced both a four session smoking cessation program of scripts & tasks and an eighteen (yes 18) page script called the “Single Session Smoking Cessation Script.”  Both look very good & Bruce has had outstanding results with both.  He taught us two systems because, “Some clients who want to quit smoking will respond better to a slow weaning process and others will prefer a one time stop smoking now script.”

Several students left this weekend with “clients” (friends, family & neighbors)  in mind to practice on.  I for one am eager to hear how they did.  I know these scripts work because this is exactly how I quit smoking over a year and a half ago.  I even tried smoking again and I just couldn’t do it.  So I know first hand – hypnotherapy works for quitting smoking where nothing else did (for me anyhow).

If you are currently smoking and would like to stop, contact Bruce at (503)267-1675 (he’s got one of the highest success rates around on getting people to stop smoking.)
